in terms of creativity, my biggest realization in the past year or so was understanding how valuable journaling is. i truly believe it is the most productive form of artistic/autistic activity that i can do. it is quick, it captures any thoughts or ideas, and saves it for later. perhaps it grows into nothing, perhaps it is an idea that branches into more and more. a simple realization, really, but took me up until now to fully grasp at the value. and the reminder only rings more true during lapses in practicing the activity.
